DEVELOPMENT MANUFACTURING QUALITY

Follow the process
Review the evidence

Understand the decisions and records needed to move from a product brief to a repeatable production reference.

01

Jacket Development

Define the intended wearer, use environment, product direction, target quantity and delivery window. Record open decisions before moving into sampling.

02

Fabric and Material Sourcing

Compare composition, structure, finish, feel, supply conditions and available documentation. Confirm substitutions before changing an approved material.

03

Pattern and Fit Development

Work from the size chart, reference garment and intended layering. Record measurement points, tolerances, movement checks and revisions for the approved sample.

04

Sample Development

Review construction, dimensions, appearance, trims and branding. Record the revision history and agreed changes before sealing the production reference.

05

Functional Construction

Consider panel layout, seam treatment, closures, hood shape and adjustment points together. Match each performance claim to the relevant material or garment evidence.

06

Bulk Production

Confirm the approved sample, material and trim references, size breakdown, packaging and inspection requirements before agreeing the production schedule.

07

Quality Control

Agree material checks, measurement points, visual defects, construction checks and final acceptance requirements. Keep records tied to the order and product version.
